So I'm going to attend this mini-high school reunion Friday night. Asavari and her husband Ray are going, and I think my friend Jill, who works up in Albany as Education Director for Capital Rep, is too. I'd really like to see Jill. Mostly I'd like to see Jill's hair. She had big metal band hair in school. We exchanged voice mails several months ago (it was during our move and I never got back to her), and she's developed a trace of an upstate accent. Not a bad thing, necessarily - at least it's not Lawn Guyland - but odd to hear on someone with whom I spent my formative years.

If Ashu's there, I know I'll have a good time. Plus it'll be nice to see Ray. She wants me to noodge Huz into going, but it's doubtful I can make that work. He didn't even attend his own 20th; why should he show up to mine (the sixteen and a half-th?) when he knows less than a handful of people?

It should be...interesting.

I'm typing this on my zippy new work computer! Didn't think I was going to get one. I thought they'd give me The Partner in Crime's old computer, which was still zippier than mine. But just today they decided to gift our whole office with sleek black Dells. Rrrrooowwwwrr.
