It's our anniversary today. The receptionist called from the front desk this morning, "Melanie, there are flowers here for you." He's never sent me flowers, so I didn't want to get too excited, lest they turn out to be from my mother, or something. But they weren't from my mother.  They were from my sweetie.  Happy 8 years, my dear.
