Now Playing - the Mets game...pointless, I know.
Now Eating -
Now Feeling -
Now Tweeting - Melanie

1. What's your favorite piece of clothing that you currently own? Gap stretch jeans are a gift from the gods, but my favorites are probably my jean jacket with all the pins on it (sort of a tapestry of my life), and two handknit, hand-dyed sweaters made by a woman in Vermont who raises her own goats. It's like wearing a work of art.

2. What piece of clothing do you most want to acquire? A butter-soft black leather jacket with a small collar & side pockets. Very simple.

3. What piece of clothing can you not bring yourself to get rid of? Why? A perfectly broken-in pair of Gap button fly jeans from the summer of '94. Paired 'em with a Gap denim halter top. I looked sublime, and it was a really interesting summer.

4. What piece of clothing do you look your best in? Love those Gap stretch jeans!

5. What has been your biggest fashion accident? Okay, this one was thrust upon me, and my mother has actually apologized for it. In my first grade picture, I'm wearing a white leotard (with my undershirt clearly visible through it) with red calico collar & cuffs, pink cat's-eye glasses on a chain, and a pixie haircut. I looked like a 6 year-old librarian.
