I saw my endocrinologist yesterday, and had more blood drawn. I was tempted to have my internist fax over my previous results, but then it hit me � hello? New drug! Which can affect fun stuff like...cholesterol levels! So I submitted to the needle again. My exam was normal, and my doctor was relieved I�d sought treatment for the depression issue. I�m pretty lucky in that I have doctors I like. My parents are reluctant to move farther out on Lawn Guyland because they don�t want to leave their doctors, and I can understand that. Huz asked me if I�d keep going to mine after we move, and honestly? I probably will. As my endocrinologist reminded me, we�ve been together nearly twenty years. To shlep across the county line once a year to have him tell me my thyroid�s still okay is no great strain. Enough medical stuff. I had a callback last night. After the doctor appointment, I headed to my parents� house, since it was midway between the office and the theater. They fed me, we discussed Thanksgiving plans, I called a restaurant and made a reservation (after they told me the place my SIL suggested would take a �reservation,� but told them there�d still be a wait once we got there), I got dressed and headed south. To a new library/theater complex on the site of an old middle school in my district, that had sat abandoned since I was in school. Beautiful new building, though like an idiot I didn�t even bother to look in the theater. Well, there�ll be time enough for that next weekend, because I read and was told to come to the next callback, and to prepare a song from the score. Mission accomplished. No major plans for the weekend, other than a photo call Sunday for the next library show. And now, to bed with me.
