I don�t have many scary dreams, but when I do, they can be doozies. The other morning, I dreamed that I was driving along a major Nawwth Shaww Lawn Guyland east-west thoroughfare. As you head east from one Billy Joel lyric to another, the road gets hilly and windy. I was driving, and as I rounded a bend the car began to skid. It was as if my mind�s eye was a t.v. private eye photographing a philandering spouse � freeze-frame, action, freeze-frame, action. There was the driving, and the skid, and the curb, and the mound of grass with trees beyond, and then I gasped myself awake, just before I hit the thing I knew would kill me.
I much prefer the �overslept the alarm� adrenaline rush to the �nearly died in a dream� one, thank you.
I got pressies!
I was summoned down to the reception area this morning, where a package awaited. �Course I knew who it was from, but still�pressies at work!
There was a box�
and within the box�
UCONN CHOCOLATE BARS! In various assorted flavors! Because Golfwidow rocks Just. That. Much.
And as an extra-special added bonus,
handy reusable freezy packs!
That Golfwidow, she thinks of everything. Once the chocolate is consumed, it will still remain The Gift That Keeps On Giving. And mighty handy for portable beer coolage, methinks.
