The IT department has blocked access to any Diaryland diaries at work. Fascists. I can write and post an entry, I just can't see it. My mother-in-law fell this morning. Huz left a message on my voicemail saying she was on her way to the hospital. His phone cut out as he was describing what happened to her, but apparently she may have had a reaction to the Excelon, for she was feeling nauseous last night and vomited today. He said something about "...dizzy..." and then faded out. When she called, she said her back was bleeding, but at least she had been able to make it to a phone. He was going to go to the doctor today, because he's had stomach problems all week that are different than his usual stomach problems, and is starting to suspect he may have an ulcer. As in, occasionally searing pains in the pit of his stomach, that are not assuaged by Pepto or antacids, and that don't go away. He's been miserable all week.
Just got off the phone with him...she had a stroke. She's in the process of being admitted to the hospital, is on IV antibiotics for some sort of infection, and I guess they'll be doing more testing to find out how serious it is. The fun never ends.
