�I�m not photographing the children. I�m photographing the SHEEP!�
That was the tagline for my dream this morning, in which I was being scolded by a daycare provider/nanny/kindergarten teacher/what-have-you while trying to photograph sheep in a meadow, and not the children playing with said sheep. Apparently the children had not signed release forms allowing them to be photographed. Who knew?
Speaking of photography (poof! instant photoessay!), here�s part of today�s lunch:
Apparently it�s a show of �Mexican Pride� to create a carbonated sugar-laden beverage the color of a highway cone. Once again, who knew?
Thanks to Wikipedia, I believe I�ve discovered the medical name for �why I feel faint when I have blood drawn� - Vaso-Vagal Trypanophobia! It�s a reflex reaction! That can kill! How cool is that?
The nurse at the blood bank had mentioned something about blood pressure/blood volume causing a reaction, so I�m guessing this must be it. Luckily I�ve managed to overcome it through force of will, not looking at the needle, and telling myself not to be such a damn baby already, it�s just a little pinch. At the endocrinologist�s last week, and the lab two weeks before, I chatted with the techs as they stuck me, and didn�t even feel dizzy. Still it�s nice to know there may be an actual organic cause.
I�m outta here. Time to go home and sit by the telly. But first, off to the polls.
