I accidentally bought some Trader Joe�s organic 2% chocolate milk. I say accidentally because I thought it was chocolate soy milk, seeing as it was packaged in the same individual juice boxy containers with the attached straws.
It tastes too...milky. Even diluted by ice, it�s intense and I daresay tangy.
My milk is gamey.
I brought it to work and put it in our mini-fridge, where I guarantee you no-one will attempt to steal it because it�s something I don�t want.
Now if it were a Dr Pepper....
New Dean looked like death on toast this morning, and went home once I got in. And The Temp is home sick as well. So it was just me and the occasional student and The Quiet. It was right nice.
Now I�m home, to what turned out to be Day of the Unusual Mail at the Mod Household.
First was what I thought was a duplicate package of an order that arrived last week. I had to open it to see that indeed the two items had shipped separately. Because neither of them had a packing slip. Off to storage it goes.
Next came a reminder card for our Drama Department alumni organization�s annual get together. �Course it�d be nice if the things didn�t always arrive the day of. It was mailed on the 9th, from Manhattan. Not that I planned on going, but it�d be nice to have some advance warning.
Then came a package from the Int�l. Fund for Animal Welfare. �I�m sending you a free gift � just in time for winter!� it read.
I poked it. Soft. Ooh, a fur coat? Probably not.
Noticed air holes in the plastic wrapper.
AN ACTUAL LIVE ANIMAL? COOL! I will hug it and squeeze it and call it George.
Unfortunately not the case. A small, fleecy, kitty-printed throw, which will be foisted upon my parents.
Huz is home bearing pizza, so I�m outta here.
