My mother had a former boss who always said bad things happen around Tish B�Av. Well, between Axel and Zoe having to be put to sleep, Jen feeling unwell again and Bernie losing her mother, I'd be inclined to believe it. Bad stuff all around, folks.
This is not meant to throw into a proverbial tailspin the peace of mind of anyone whose spouse is flying across country this week, really it's not. You know who you are. I'm spending today putting up the new mailboxes for this year's students. We're halfway through the alphabet. Not making bad time at all. Mindless busywork. So today we had the option of taking in for repair the car that is leaking and burning oil at a remarkable rate, or the car that is now making a fabulous grinding noise. The leaky one won. And how's your Tish B'Av going? More later. Much.
