I keep gripping my feet inside my shoes as I walk. I'm just a little bit tense. Yeesh. PMS, finals, tech week and a full moon. If I don't kill someone, it'll be a miracle. As P.E. put it. we've been doing the Karaoke version of Kiss Me, Kate for the past two nights. Our music director had a brief, unnamed but potentially serious medical scare the other day. She's okay, and will be back tonight, along with (I assume) the whole band. We're still working out monstrous set changes, dealing with costumes that are not quite finished yet, and I personally am still finding my way with this character. I wish I had just a little more time. I'm taking Friday off, so I'll have a day to just focus and prepare. But I still feel like there are moments I haven't had the chance to think through fully, songs I need to polish, and a costume change plot I really need to write out. I will never open a show during final exams again. So now I'll go close an exam and get some busywork done.
