It's Friday Five Time!
1. How many TVs do you have in your home? Two; one in the living room, one in the bedroom.
2. On average, how much TV do you watch in a week? Probably somewhere in the area of 12-15 hours.
3. Do you feel that television is bad for young children? Television that is too violent, or that doesn't make them think, yes. I don't even care about the repercussions of watching the Power Rangers later in life, but if it makes kids go after each other on the playground now, my hypothetical child would not be watching it.
4. What TV shows do you absolutely HAVE to watch, and if you miss them, you're heartbroken? The West Wing and Law and Order: SVU. If I'm home on the weekend, the "Design Time Saturday Night" lineup on HGTV.
5. If you had the power to create your own television network, what would your line-up look like? Intelligent, well-written programming with a sophisticated sense of humor, and a nice big helping of the arts.
Well, I managed to catch whatever the huz has, so I'm sick and not pleased. Not as miserable as Huz has been about it (not yet,, anyway), but bemoaning the fact that with a cold, all you can do is treat the symptoms, but do nothing to proactively cure it. It's frustrating. Neither one of us has been sick for a while, so we'd forgotten how annoying it is. I took the day off (our office was deserted, yowie!) so as not to exhaust myself before the show tomorrow night.
We seem to have nixed that "Fascinatin' Rhythm" number - I never would have been able to get it down in time. At least now I can concentrate on the stuff I know I can nail. It should be fun. And they'll feed and drink us, from what I gather! Yippee!
I have to shower, get my dry cleaning, eat, pay some bills, and get my butt to rehearsal.
